Plus, it's clear ICE really hates the yelling. They try to say it's illegal and that they are warning people they will be arrested for doing it.

A lot of folks may think that just yelling at ICE agents is ineffective, but consider the cumulative psychological toll of being yelled at EVERY DAY when trying to do shit. Even the biggest asshole in the world who doesn't give a shit about other people will feel the pressure.
More from the scene
Somehow, the Chicago situation is encouraging many Americans to hold forth on the importance of the constitution, of officers behaving lawfully and respectfully, and of truth and kindness. I'm getting many many such followers and very few angry trolls.
On X/Twitter Musk's trying to protect the trolls going after those of us who post about Trump administration's misbehavior. When I try to answer them, the system says repeatedly, "Oops, that post didn't go forward". However, GROK is supporting the facts of our posts rather than the troll's slurs.
On the Sept. 30 raid on 7500 S. S. Shore Dr. DHS claimed the target was Tren de Aragua gang but as in most raids here never proved it. Judge Cummings said, "However, one thing seems clear: ICE rousted American citizens..[in] the middle of the night and detained them-in zip ties no less.
President Reagan's speech on tariffs was right on point. He said, "When someone says, 'Let's impose tariffs on foreign imports',, it looks like...the patriotic thing..protecting American products". [But] "Markets shrink and collapse. Industries shut down and millions of people lose their jobs."
Trump calls killing operations against small boats in waters off South America a war but says he's not going to ask approval from Congress. "I think we're just going to kill people that are bringing drugs into our country, OK? We're going to kill them, you know? They are going to be, like, dead."
A number of GOP pols are not happy about the US killing people in small boats off of South America. They include Senator Todd Young of Indiana, John Curtis of Utah, Susan Collins of Maine, Mike Rounds of South Dakota, Tom Tillis of North Carolina, Lisa Murkowsky of Alaska, Rand Paul of Kentucky.
So nonexistent is the "intelligence" Hegseth claims to be using to target small boats in the Caribbean and Colombian Pacific, he claimed the boat blasted out of the water September 15 was Venezuelan gang members, who turned out not to be Venezuelan. War crime or murder charges seem ahead for him.
Petulent, impulsive Trump cancels Canada's trade talks because a provincial official put up an ad quoting parts of President Ronald Reagan's speech explaining why tariffs don't do any good. Though every word of the speech quoted was what Reagan said, Trump claims it was fake and fraudulent.
One of the things riling Chicago residents is how ICE is not primarilly going after "the worst of the worst" but is going around targeting numerous random people who appear Black or Brown and arresting them whether they are undocumented immigrants or citizens.
Bovino, clearly seen in videos lobbing tear gas at demonstrators without justification or the required 2 warnings, then laughing about it, now has a 5-hour interview with the judge to explain his apparent disobedience on her orders. Te interview is under oath.
DHS could wish they'd never heard of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. The courts made them bring him back when they mistakenly deported him to El Salvador. Then they never took up the human trafficking case they said they brought him back for, a case Judge Crenshaw found likely a vindictive prosecution."
Barbara McQuade of U. Michigan Law said, "When you have a president saying they're guilty as hell before they are charged, it seems like the process is working in reverse. It seems that humiliation is the goal instead of humiliation being a collateral consequence of a conviction"...
NYT points that in Trump's earlier attempts to get his rivals prosecuted "none were successfully prosecuted", though "While out of office, Mr. Trump was indicted four times and convicted once, and was the defendent in three civil trials, including one that stemmed from Ms. James's lawsuit".
Trump's retributional case against Attorney General Leticia James doesn't seem likely to go very far. The Norfolk property at issue was slated for her use as a second home, and her niece has been living there most of the time. James only briefly rented it out, as is allowed for such homes.
Wondering where Independent voters are over the Shutdown? Here's a poll result.
If the speedboats the administration is having bombed out of the water in the Caribbean and Pacific are carrying drugs, why haven't they shown any of the evidence they claim shows that? They say there are tapes, bales, they had survivors to interview and investigate, but they've presented nothing!
Trump has promised many times to put America and Americans first. However, in actuality, he privileges many other countries and non-American individuals first: Argentina, its president, Russia, its president, Israel, its president, Brazil's former disgraced president, etc., etc., etc.
Trump as candidate promised to "drain the swamp" of corruption and fraud. Trump as president is hiring many people known to have committed fraud or corruption and is also pardoniang/commuting sentences of many hundreds of people convicted of fraud/corruption and even violence.
Candidate Trump claimed he would stop all foreign endless wars. Trump as president seems to be creating new endless wars and not stopping existing wars, like Russia's against Ukraine. Whether he and many other parties will succeed in stopping Isreal's war against Palestinians remains to be seen.
George Retes Jr. was attacked by fed agents while driving to work in his car, whose plates identified him as a disabled veteran. He said he was a citizen but was tear-gassed, pepper sprayed, dragged out, kneeled on, and detained. DHS claims he was violent but did not charge him.
