I'm at ISACA - West Florida Chapter's AI/GRC mini-conference in Tampa's funky Ybor City neighborhood. I've just given a lightning talk on context and personas in enterprise AI, as a warm-up act for James Gress' presentation on demystifying AI for everyday impact, pictured here.

Yet another one of my regular reminders to double-check your work before putting it out in the world (look at the highlighted paragraph in the “Auto sales rev up in October” article).
Remember to not leave all the work to the AI : Global Nerdy
Pictured above is a photo of a page from Dawn, an English-language newspaper based in Pakistan. Take a look at the highlighted paragraph at the end of the article titled Auto sales rev up in October: ...

“SCIENCE!!!” I finally got to meet the person who inspired me to mix both technology and keyboard playing last night: Thomas Dolby, who performed at the Capitol Theater in Clearwater last night, which I attended with Anitra.

More details in an upcoming article about a very busy birthday weekend.

[1 of 3] I have to respect the hustle that viewers of Tony Robbins’ AI Summit have shown.

The Summit is set up like a scaled-up all hands Zoom call, and viewers are encouraged to turn their cameras on.

[1 of 2] I’ve had Tony Robbins’ and Dean Graziosi’s “AI Summit” on in the background, and Day One (yes, it’s three days’ worth) can be best described as “No stuff, just fluff.”

[1 of 2] I didn’t know they did this until recently: there’s a “Just the HP ZGX Nano” version of that recent “Intelligent Machines” podcast featuring Product Manager Andrew Hawthorn and Yours Truly talking about the AI workstation. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out!

Sending a laptop back to the client today. There was too little bubble wrap in the box to safely ship the laptop. Fortunately, I have lots of grocery bags; they’re pretty good packing material. I included a note for whoever will unpack it, plus a little something to make their day.

You’ve probably seen the YouTube ad with Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi talking about their upcoming AI seminar.

I have some free time on my hands this week, so I signed up with one of my “sock puppet” accounts and plan to watch it and report my findings.

This should be interesting...

Glenn Clifton Jr.’s rapper name, Young Bleed, was eerily prescient. I know I’ve already got the “Accordion Guy” moniker, but I should also porbably adopt “MC Awesome New Job” just in case your name is your fate.

In the spirit of nominative determinism, what’s your rapper name?
