I lived with my dad when I was very young and he didn’t apply for food stamps or free school lunches, though we qualified.

So, I went hungry. It was awful. I begged neighbors for saltine crackers. I can say it was the worst time of my life.

Children shouldn’t go hungry. Restore SNAP benefits.

For those not paying attention, it's easy to lose track of all the money they are pissing away on everything/everyone but not on Americans/America. SNAP benefits will end soon if the government remains shut down, but even with the shut down, they are irresponsibly and wildly spending our money.

The AWS outage bricked people's $2,700 smartbeds, leaving them in a reclining position or with the heat up. People were unable to use them, basically. A GitHub repo exists that lets people operate their beds without reliance on the normal infrastructure

People should absolutely be writing about how ICE's occupation of their cities is transforming life in these places, and they should be publishing it in print on paper - not just social media posts. There needs to be a record of this. Things are changing in measurable ways for the worse every day.

In Florida the chief health officer insisted children don't need vaccines. Who will pay to provide the iron lungs to polio victims, braille books for those blinded by measles? Don't ask red state gov'ts. You only have a "right to life". No matter the quality of that life.
