Science teachers - how do you introduce the concept of acids and bases to KS3 for the first time? Trying to find ways avoiding misconceptions and definitions without meaning (e.g. Avoiding pH at first) Pupils have previously learned about mixtures (inc solutions), compounds, some chemical reactions
