one of the insignificant things that bothers me the most is when i see like graphics or thumbnails that use sprites but dont scale them by factors that are integers so theyre just blurry as shit, like pleaseeeeee you CAN have your cake and also eat it too pleaseeee

the issue i take with people
saying to "separate art from artist" is that people only say to do so when its convenient for their morals. the logical conclusion of the statement is that the artist that made something is not important to the piece's significance, which i doubt people actually believe

smw has honestly been a giant reference point for me sprite wise, having played a lot of smm and watched quite a few romhack videos, so its cool to at last play some hacks of the game that is kind of this giant *idea* at this point when it comes to platformers
