I was not a fan of this. At all. I’ve been a big Chris Armas Fan since day one. The attitude and the nastiness that he came it @bymattpollard.bsky.social, the most professional media member on the beat, was absolutely unacceptable. Horrible look for Chris. Matt deserves better than that

The injury report for both teams tomorrow is as good as can be expected this time of year. The only surprise for Colorado is Calvin Harris. Otherwise, Atencio is a go. Maybe some significant Manyoma minutes???

It looked like almost full participation in training. The exceptions are Kimani Stewart-Baynes (who is out for the season but still doing more and more side work) and Wayne Frederick (who looks to be still with his national team).

It’s a rare occasion to this team down. Today was not one of those days. One could even make an argument that they were even more upbeat than normal. It feels like a team that’s aware that they just have one shot, but they don’t feel like they will miss.

Training tomorrow will be interesting to see. The availability report will be interesting to see for both teams. More importantly, who LAFC plays, and for how long, is going to be the driving force of this match

As much as I think Manyoma should be starting at this point, this is not the match for his first start. HOWEVER, I think you bring him in at 60 for Yapi.

If Atencio is not yet fit, which we’ll see tomorrow, you go with Ronan. He’s looked fantastic in training.

Noah Cobb is back from Chile. We don’t know what formation Armas is going to use but I think a 3-4-3 gives them their best chance this weekend with this XI

FC Dallas loses against LA Galaxy and loses their two strikers for decision day against Vancouver to suspension. That means with Real Salt Lake loss tonight, San Jose enters the fray for their decision day matchup against Austin FC.

So……Dallas has to go to Vancouver next week, who is changing the one seed, for sure without Musa and most likely without Farrington. They can maybe get by on a draw but really need a win.

RSL “only” has St. Louis but they are 3-1-1 in their last five matches.
