Why is, “Live and let live” so difficult for so many people? I trust until proven wrong. I support whatever is important to you as long as you aren’t out to limit, humiliate, or control others. I believe plain M&Ms are the best and will die on that hill.

The letter is part of policy and procedure. Due process if you will. She had to write the letter first to show intent. Without the letter/warning, Johnson could whine that he had not been given a heads up and try to dismiss the case. Chris Mayes is very good at what she does!!

Adrian Fontes had to certify the election first. He certified the election on October 14. Once it was certified, then Chris Mayes could move forward with pushing Johnson.

Chris Mayes has a better shot at winning if she gives Johnson a warning in writing. If he does nothing, she can say he did nothing. Without the letter he can say they had no idea and try to dismiss the case.

Johnson could complain that it wasn’t in good faith because they hadn’t received any warning of intent. With the threatening letter Chris Mayes can now say we gave them a warning they were informed and did nothing. The case could move forward with fewer bumps for the plaintiff.

Arizonan here. We are fortunate to have Gov. Katie, Hobbs, AG, Chris Mayes, & Sec of State Adrian Fontes here in AZ. If we didn’t have them, we would be in a whole lot of trouble. We’re purple. This is a very important state for the future and can’t imagine having MAGA leadership if they lose in ‘26
