I aim to have a bunch of interchangeable parts, so whenever I need a unique version, I can just pick the ones that feel right for the purpose.

My job has been tiring, but I always strive to make stuff despite that.
I don't render to tmp, just to avoid this ever happening.

Great job on the course though, the result looks great!

Salt is like the saturation slider in HSV. So cooking without salt would be like making a monochrome black and white image.
True, now that you mention it, traditional cartoon wheels are usually static.
If you parent the wheel to an empty, you can make the wheel rotate freely, and by scaling the empty you can squash and stretch it. In theory this should work like a charm, I've used this method to animate planets rotating, where I stretched its parent to fake a wide angle shot.
