I posted a WIP of this at the end of last year and wasn't sure if I wanted to finish it or not. It's not how I initially envisioned, but I'm glad I finished it because I never liked the midway stage

Sometimes letting it sit for a few months and poking at it every now and then works :D

I keep multiple sketchbooks for different purposes, so this one is the "people" themed one while most of my environment and objects are in other ones

None of these are editited beyond making them clearer (contrast) and pasting them on a bigger page

I didn’t have a specific au in mind, but I referenced a gardener’s uniform for Vi’s outfit. Maybe a young noblewoman trying to get a break and going to the city conservatory where she bumps into the handsome gardener working there.

I just wanted to doodle something cute…

Based on “In the Conservatory” by Édouard Manet, but I changed the narrative and elements to fit my idea more

Ps. It is not meant to be 100% historically accurate and I intentionally changed the clothing to be a bit later on in time
