this is true. sometimes the thing that is far away from what they are in real life is what makes fics great. they get to live as something completely fictional and not based on anything other than their names, personalities and physical features. also there are many awesome au fics out there too!

i have a bit of a weird relationship with canon tropes. i won't say i don't read them because i do. but i'd prefer it if it didn't stick too much to real time events.

understandable. it can be triggering after all.

i still read them now. i feel like sometimes fic characters are romanticized too much into someone who's too perfect. if anything for me, the fact that they are portrayed as problematic in fics makes me more aware that it's def not real.

(Zayn will most likely just not answer you one call allowance from jail).

It would be kinda of interesting if say he was the villain. I read one a while back where he turned out to be the villain and it was so unexpected . Like the best plot twist worthy kinda thing

magazine owner niall sounds way more interesting than the guy who obsesses over nando's haha. i've read quite a few fics where he's a lawayer actually. i don't know why, but i think all the one where he is serious is if you read narry pairing fics.

since niall is always imagined as this happy-go-lucky or funny kind of guy, i think it'd be nice if it turned out he's actually a good listener and good at giving advice - basically more mature than he let's on. i can think of more but that's all i got for now.
