I just drove outside of the Mississippi border so I could post that Bluesky is a bunch of fucking cowards. No other social media companies are even responding or enforcing age restrictions yet here.

Hire some devs bluesky bc we wont be the last state that pulls this shit.

I am using a VPN so its no biggie, but probably tomorrow when you login, it won't allow it if your IP address shows location of Mississippi. A lot of websites are going to block us bc it costs them to do the verification process.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.
