One lady yelled at a man to turn around and read aloud a sign saying not to stand in the area he was in. Once he did, she said, WELL? And chased him off. The two hours I was there, they yelled at like at least 11 dudes. Wild shit.

Spent two hours at the out-of-state transfer DMV branch today trying to get my license while the two women working there yelled at people for getting things wrong. Seriously thought they were being racist bc it was mostly directed at ESL peeps.

Side note: I don't hate all men. This isn't saying that. What I'm saying is men are just people, and you gotta stop putting them above everything else in your life. Live for something besides making men your entire world.

You need hobbies and you need women as friends, ones who can trust you, bc you're not going to air their business to the men around them. You need to get over the thought that making men happy is the goal.

I used to center men as little as two years ago. I spent most of my life thinking finding a man was the ultimate goal bc that's how I was raised. I stayed with some of my partners despite mistreatment bc it was so important to have a dude around. If I can unlearn that, you can, too.

It's dangerous to do this and have female friends at the same time. If you prioritize men over your female friendships, you are putting those women in danger bc you can't keep women's confidence and they can't trust you. You are also putting yourself in danger.

For those not on TikTok, centering men means wanting nothing more in life than to be picked and liked by men. Your entire existence revolves around men, whether that's doing anything to get and keep a man, or betraying every woman around you so that men like you more than them.

Governor Newsom just signed my bill to increase incarcerated firefighter pay 700% to the federal minimum wage.

Anyone who puts their life on the line to protect others is a hero and deserves both our gratitude and to be compensated justly.
