idk, I'm not hopeful. but I'd love to see it. if that happens... I think I'd buy one in an instant. a headset running an equivalent to graphene would be cool.

I would still prefer it literally just run Linux. if only the Simula one wasn't prohibitively expensive with basically nobody using it.

i am about to just write that it only works on steamvr and quest headsets... but that won't be good enough either. i can already feel the response in my mind "the steamvr garbonzofuck 6000xr doesn't work so you can't release your game"

right now, they're telling me my game doesn't launch with WMR headsets. i had 4 people test it for me with different headsets and under linux and windows and they all work fine so i'm completely confused as to what is happening and they never provide logs from the steamworks responses, so fuck me ig

steam is, by far, the most difficult storefront i have ever worked with. how was it easier to release apps on IOS than on steam?? seriously, i can't even get a fucking distribution for the alpha?? paid 200 USD just to spend 10 months fighting them

I'm so thankful to live in Colorado where it never gets above 95 and I get to look at beautiful stuff like this every day. wish it wasn't so fucking expensive.
a photo looking through a camera viewfinder. the photo contains mountains shrouded partially by thick clouds. the mountains are fuzzy with blur and trees and shrubs, while the apartments below are sided with vinyl. a winding street flows down from the viewpoint of the photo toward those apartments. a photo of a mountain with soft, almost cotton textured, clouds sliding across the top and side of the mountain. once again, the mountains are fuzzy with plant life, which is so lush, but faded in color by the foggy weather. the air is thick with moisture, and the plants on the mountain are getting a nice breeze of cool water flowing across them from the fast moving clouds, sliding across. a photo of a lush wooded hiking trail. there are trees as tall as buildings and about the diameter of two adult humans. the trees are littered with lumps, presumably of branches long gone through their lives. the smooth leaves of bright and lush bushes are caught still as the dense forest makes the wind slow to a crawl here. the trail is just wide enough for one person to pass while being gently brushed by the plant life on either side, is going uphill just enough to make it a careful walk. its bright and sunny, cold from altitude but a sharp heat from the sun poles through the trees. another lush scene, full of healthy trees and shrub with a fast moving stream in the middle. the stream of water is interrupted here and there by large rocks, covered in plush moss. the water only goes to about ankle deep and the rocks visible are smooth from wear and water splashing over them. the water rolls across the rough ground, making a very complex shape as the water traps air within itself as it crashes over these small rocks creating many different textures. smooth flows moving fast, and blocked paths creating fluffy collections of tiny bubbles and foam. the frigid water makes a gentle rumble as it traverses.

Windows 10 goes out of support today. My fave useless fact about w10 is that the iconic blue desktop background is a *photograph* - not CGI.
