Again, it is a full-blown federal felony crime for anyone in the White House or Executive Office of the President to order tax investigations into anyone.

And it's not just a crime to DO it, it's even a federal crime for an employee not to REPORT such an order to the Treasury Inspector General.
26 U.S. Code § 7217 - Prohibition on executive branch influence over taxpayer audits and other investigations
U.S. Code
Notes

(1)to an applicable person by or on behalf of the taxpayer and forwarded by such applicable person to the Internal Revenue Service;
(2)by an applicable person for disclosure of return or return information under section 6103 if such request is made in accordance with the requirements of such section; or
(3)by the Secretary of the Treasury as a consequence of the implementation of a change in tax policy.
(d)Penalty
Any person who willfully violates subsection (a) or fails to report under subsection (b) shall be punished upon conviction by a fine in any amount not exceeding $5,000, or imprisonment of not more than 5 years, or both, together with the costs of prosecution.

The Chicken Suit Guy said something like, "Whatever ICE wants to do to us can't be worse than what they're already doing to immigrants." Amen, Jack.

If you're worried for No Kings and what the govt may do, it won't be worse than what they'll do if we don't stop them. We get to be courageous now.
Can concur. Hope the arms feel better soon
So tired of them. Clickbait is exhausting
Thank you! I could use some right now. I fell a couple days ago & broke my wrist. Have to get surgery tomorrow AM. 😖/ apparently getting some sort of metal stabilizer plate. I’m hoping it will allow me to shoot webs or something. That would be cool.

Looks mighty tasty to me! You had me at taters! 😆
I’m not reposting hyperbolic clickbait.
Thank you for summarizing this. We don’t need this right now at all.
@damnyourlies.bsky.social - Courtney summed up what I suspected. I second the notion w don’t need that shit on top of everything else. It makes me so angry. And I’m angry enough as it is!
I try not to repost news from Meidas because, and this is important, they click bait and rage bait and honestly I don't think any of us need that shit.
I will go take a look. But imho, MT is frequently doing exactly this type of hype/clickbait. So much so they have largely stopped watching their videos & unsubscribed to the newsletter. I want facts & to be informed but I don’t want what amounts to fear mongering. It’s hard enough as it is ☹️

This guy was a clerk for Justice Gorsuch. Anyone want to argue this is not a racist (and damn stupid) taunt?

a real question for the roberts majority is what in their view distinguishes jim crow disenfranchisement from majority-minority districts? a related question is what in their view made the typical jim crow law — which was facially neutral — unconstitutional?

Trump: "I'm going to be strongly recommending at the request of govt officials, which is always nice, that you start looking at San Francisco. I think we can make San Francisco -- one of our great cities 10 years ago, 15 years ago, and now it's a mess."
