It's been a couple years since AI opened my eyes and made me realize we developers are akin to plumbers or construction workers, we'll just be replaced way sooner than them.

It gave me motivation to both pursue and support meaningful handmade/indie projects, with all their imperfections

I think you could try to record yourself and try to see what exactly takes up most of your time. Maybe you redraw lines many times, or spend the majority of time rendering, or do too many cleanup passes.
I'm very slow at coloring and rendering so I usually stop at black and white for a quick piece

It is probably meant to look cool and keep people's attention. Not a huge fan of it either.
When the aim of the video is to teach something and not mere enterteinment any camera movement that is not needed will just end up feeling jarring :/
