I think media literacy should be a mandatory class in high school. Any and everyone can present themselves a reputable source with the level of access we all have to the internet. It’s important that we start giving people the tools to vet sources as young as possible.

Turns out private schools have a deadline to submit enrollment information to the DoE and my school missed that deadline. They were going through the whole freshman class, tryna get our parents on truancy 😭

All this talk of school is reminding me of the time the city almost fined my mom for not enrolling me in high school. A couple months into my freshman year, someone from the city DoE stopped by our apartment to serve my mom cause they had no record of me being enrolled in high school 😭😭

Difficult 😬
I was the kid that did their homework right before class. I got As without studying. When the subjects got harder, I started to fall behind. It was stressful to realize that being ahead when I was younger meant no one really taught me how to learn/study. I had to figure that out myself
