finished chapter 3. it might be my favourite? i think it had higher highs than ch1 but the freak shit in the baseball scene rivals the angel mort scenes. so i'll have to sit on it

theres a scene with keiichi and rena where they talk about having as much fun as you can and being nice to your friends today because tomorrow a volcano could go off and leave you the last survivor out of all your loved ones and it really made me go like "damn they right..."

it's absolutely insane they build up irie to be this total creep and yet when he's the one to come to your rescue in this scene, i've never been so relieved in my life. singlehandedly forming a bond between us in a single scene after i've been totally repulsed by him up til now.

[deltarune] i do think that having not only a new lightner in the dark world but an undertale character is a natural progression for ways chapters to distinguish themselves with a character gimmick, and fighting an ut boss is cool. i just hope hes not the main guy in any position.

[deltarune] i guess this is another part of why i'm not big on chapter 4, because you dont get a "character" for a main boss. jack is the only noteworthy brand new character in chapter 4. king+jevil, queen+spamton, and tenna+Everyone have such strong showings

[deltarune] tbh it's a little discouraging to see people so certain about asgore being either the main or secret boss of chapter 5 because i think deltarune's strongest characters are the new ones... like gerson was cool but i was really sad we didnt get a new Freak
