If you’ve made the trek to watch a Shakespearean play — even if your sole incentive was seeing Sam — the very least you could do is educate yourself on live theatre etiquette. Celeb pics and selfies and SM bragging rights should be the last things on your mind. It’s so embarrassing.

I’m appalled that anyone would even think of whipping out a phone camera during a live theatre performance, no matter the actor or their level of fame (and I’ve seen some big names on the West End stage). It’s so disrespectful to all involved. Plays are not fan conventions. 🤦🏻‍♀️

To me, it’s like they know what’s worked before for JC and they’re either unable or unwilling to be ingenious and change things up for other couples in the OL universe. See also: Broger (sorry for the visuals).

I’d argue Jamie’s love for Claire was (almost) at first sight, but we had multiple episodes and pivotal scenes actually *show* the undeniable spark between them and the gradual development of their relationship. So, it can work for TV if done right; alas, they fumbled it for Ellen and Brian.

- Baby Claire! Uncle Lamb! (I refuse to accept neither will ever see Julia & Henry again, canon be damned.)
- IMHO, despite all verbal proclamations this episode, Ellen & Brian’s undying love and decision to elope still feel… unearned? And, there will only ever be one 1x07. Fin.
