I don't really deal with sadness or grief in the way that a lot of people do and keep them close to me, selective in who I reveal them to. Grief in my world is a vulnerability others will exploit. But as I post pictures of her, I have to reveal that Roxy, my shiba inu, died on Thursday night. 🧵

best to just go with it. I imagine this stuff then post it so other people don't have to feel guilty for imagining it themselves. :}

the cold, turgid seas of shame lap upon the shores of the nephew's tormented soul until, unable to bear the weight of his guilt any longer, he takes his own life. his uncle, by this time, has forgotten he even had a nephew. a dim memory of something immeasurably precious to be given is all remaining
yiff.com
can imagine this asshole takes it, replaces it with a clone. uncle has a clear day, realizes it's fake and feels despondent that the watch was stolen from him and he doesn't know when, for you see, he was going to give it to his nephew. who now can't put it back, and for whom wearing it brings shame
yiff.com
oh yeah that's the thread that led to this I think. iirc you deleted your account shortly thereafter do I guess the site was bad after all

I shouldn't be able to write this dumb set of posts. it's ridiculous. but I can because the dems suck. mcbride sucks. and the GOP love it

congress leaves house, shaken

reporter: it was just a magic minute speech?

nancy mace stares blankly: I accept cracker barrel's new logo now

seth moulton, hair white: th... the transphobia

reporter: what?!

moulton: mcbride. five hours. we hated her. we never knew how much she could hate herself

unless dems can firmly unify against such bans and establish a clear guidance on their support of trans athletes at school and pro levels, which is accepted party-wide at all offices and in all press, the GOP will continue to exploit the issue and its corrosive effect on dem public image - and us
yiff.com
the GOP have a unified front on this issue. nancy mace called herself "pro-trans rights" and supported minors expressing gender via dress/pronouns only 2 years ago. their party solidified firmly on the issue and dems did not so perception is dems are weak, indecisive, uncommitted. thus, unsupportive
yiff.com
the party does not have a firm stance on the issue which it can stand behind in unison. a majority of reps may be supportive, but many in tightly contested purple districts are unwilling to establish a firm stance out of fear their own base will turn on them. dems have lost all narrative control
yiff.com
while I know full well GOP run such disinfo campaigns as well, and I abhor "we go high" dem strategy, that particular angle of attacking opposition's ability to individually vote is one I vehemently oppose dems utilizing. so I do hope she's moved forward from there
yiff.com
last I recall (last year) she was at allvote and I super facepalmed as they're among the dem orgs that were sending text messages with disinfo about voting rules/locations to try discourage/trick GOP voters into being unable to vote
yiff.com
has shown dems to be weak on the issue, encouraging republicans to use it as a wedge issue in elections and at local levels where there isn't firm guidance from elected officials to stand by. this coupled with how few trans athletes there even are in sports to begin with, yet so much hysteria
yiff.com
the best way I can describe it is that while democrats aren't exactly driving them into existence, their abject failure to establish a unified front on the issue alongside numerous halting, awkward "well uh er there needs to be a uh conversation maybe" statements by buttigieg and seth moulton etc /
yiff.com
is she still working for allvote

this is a significant improvement from her attitude when I last tangled with her on these issues and it's refreshing to see her come to understand fighting is the better way forward
yiff.com
if your username contains the hard r it becomes immensely more difficult to even post logs or screenshots where you appear. it forces people to waste time censoring it out and makes conversations harder to follow
yiff.com
this is all part of the process of shitcoating - associating your plans, beliefs and organizations with ridiculous and offensive names, groups, conspiracies and individuals, in order to make discussion or planning against you cumbersome, subject to censorious site policies, triggering, etc

you might also note that calling online pro-communism pundits "tankies" is usually an indicator of your lack of understanding of what a "tankie" is (and isn't) and causes said pundits and more or less anyone left of elizabeth warren to stop taking you seriously. this is painfully embarrassing. stahp

you are railing against a communist boogeyman that doesn't even exist as though you've been possessed by the ghost of joseph mccarthy. watch your alcohol consumption, liver disease took him out really fast after he got censured. that gets treated free in canada too, even if you did it to yourself
yiff.com
one wouldn't have to look much further than canada to see how a single payer healthcare system is capable of serving trans people's basic needs without very much fuss, though there's plenty of room for improvement. but at its worst it still outdoes almost every state. communism not required
yiff.com
nobody is calling for a communist revolution as a solution specifically for trans healthcare. anyone here who believes in communism as a viable and ultimately better socio-economic solution than capitalism is considering it such across the board. how it would deal with individual cases is uncertain
yiff.com
vance and miller are probably wincing every time trump says things like that though
yiff.com
that part is probably going to take her beyond trump's term to rebuild if it happens at all, so trump himself isn't too concerned as he ultimately doesn't really give a care about the party or anything else beyond his presidency either

she took over TPUSA and the social media op pretty effectively, but the more important part of its operations was the fundraising pipeline it provided from billionaire donors and companies to individual candidates, which she didn't inherit so much of since she wasn't in the room while deals were cut
