tbh the main thing you can criticize lebron for during his lakers tenure is the pressure he kinda puts on the front office in order to contend and some of the subsequent moves not paying off, and not necessarily his play and being injury-battered

the thing is, despite the mods/admins making bad decisions over the past few months, the user experience is actually good, you can curate your feed, and the nuclear block ends your interactions with harrassers

a user just politely asked if bsky banned a transphobic harrasser but she just responded with "WAFFLES" and she just doubled down on not taking criticism like snarkily replying "you coulc try a poster's strike" or "harrassing the mods won't change things"

honestly, while r/OpenChristian might be seen by outsiders as an "echo chamber", inside of it there are actually some theological debates

but overall, as someone who's participated on the sub for more than four years now, i'd say it's a pretty healthy space

the church apologizing for such actions in recent decades is a step in the right direction, but i also wish they do more to right those wrongs
