Things are happening at Portland's ICE facility tonight.

Yup. Having a really strong visual asset / trailer that drove Youtube viewership numbers helped so much on the PR side.
You need numbers. I can't tell you how important YouTube trailer numbers are. I pitch indie coverage basically every day, and the metric for what gets covered and what doesn't is internal numbers for previous coverage and YouTube.

If the audience isn't interested, it doesn’t get spin. That's it.
Obviously, massive MASSIVE thanks to the press who *have* covered us -- the reviews we did get were lovely to read

But like, what exactly do we need to achieve for RPS, Kotaku, Polygon, IGN, Gamespot, etc etc to acknowledge us anymore?

How the heck are smaller teams meant to get the word out?

Alright, here's the montage from yesterday's 2000th episode of Kinda Funny Games Daily.

I just want to start every market presentation I do with this clip. Would save me so much time when talking about the state of the industry over the past few years.

How long does it take to beat? I'm thinking about picking it up, but am a bit limited on time at the moment.
NOTE: I am not saying that there aren't racism problems in Japan, especially with who just got elected yesterday. However, I do feel way safer with the one that I'm currently in now as a Latino.
I've been thinking a lot about how I'll be able to see a Bad Bunny concert in Japan later, but my latino friends in the states won't be able to.

Like, I never would've imagined a world where that's the case. It makes me sad since that's just where we are at now in the states.
The ducks fan in me is asking if we should even be proud that we won against Penn State now lmao.
I'm gonna be real

It's been a wild ride of feelings moving from Portland to Japan and then seeing everything that is happening in Portland rn
Like it’s a public day, so of course there’s gonna be a lot of people, but there were some points/areas that needed to be crowd-controlled or just thrown back to the drawing board.
I’ll post a couple of highlights from TGS in a bit, but I will say that they need to do something about the crowding next year.

Like there were a couple times where I was in a crowd and legit thought “oh, this is actually dangerous.”
I was able to play Pragmata today and yo this game rules.

The attendant also told me that I was the person who finished the demo the fastest that day lol.
Haha hope you are staying well out there. I’ll wave hi if I see ya.

Also, if you gave execs like 15 mins of JPN pronunciation training it would be 1000% better than what we watched tonight
Never really expected Forza Horizon of all series to reflect my life path as a Mexican whose life ended up centering around Japan
This review rocks, please read it.
The Ivalice Chronicles adds smart refinements to an all time classic, honing it to a sheen. But it’s impossible to play this game and not see it reflected in the state of modern America. I wrote about that, and the idea of resistance for Rolling Stone www.rollingstone.com/culture/rs-g...
