Every state legislature should be trying to eliminate SALES TAXES and replace it with other revenue streams.

Sales tax is the most regressive.
The impact is felt even more, due to inflation and tariffs.

Republicans want to cut income and property taxes because they only care about rich people

What ARE his stances on sports and age of care?

Those are the two main issues and Democrats seem to think they can just refuse answers, despite Republicans hammering them on trans issues every election.

New KFF poll: Americans want Congress to extend the expiring, enhanced Obamacare credits by a whopping margin of 78% to 22% — a remarkable political entrenchment for subsidies that were a heavy political lift for Democrats just a few years ago, per Politico.

Do they think that if Medicaid doesn’t pay for emergency care that the cost just goes away?
wolfraiseshuman.bsky.social
Stoked Republicans are screaming “America First” for medical coverage!

Ready to go on expanding Medicare/Medicaid and reducing private insurance costs- just like voters want.

The thing about Trump bailing Argentina out to the tune of 20 billion while shutting down the US government to kick Americans off healthcare…

Argentina has universal healthcare. 😑

We’re just going to get hammered on transgender stuff again this election cycle… and for all eternity, right?

Talarico, Sherrill and most other Dems think they can just deflect it, since that’s what the party has done for ten years.
They don’t realize that time’s up

Sure. Left wing terrorism is at an all time high, going from 3% of domestic terror fatalities to 4%. Right wing terrorism on the other hand has dipped to an all time low of 95%

So technically, yeah.

So Dems focus too much on LGBTQ+, climate change and abortion- but (seemingly unknown to Ezra Klein), the polls favor Dems on abortion nationwide.

Reps focus too much on crime and immigration. The polls favored them on immigration before the election, but now their actual policies are unpopular.

Lots of Democrat defectors on this, which is bizarre, since MO is the ONLY state that grabs control of police departments from major cities.

It’s power consolidation at the state level, by Republicans who love politicizing crime and dislike liberal cities. #moleg

On a 113 to 39 vote, the Missouri House gave final approval to a bill to put the city’s police department under control of a board made up of the St. Louis mayor and five commissioners appointed by the governor and confirmed by the state Senate. #moleg #mogov

Republicans are good at blaming, but not fixing.

The economy, immigration and crime are evergreen issues for Republicans because they can’t be eliminated. They’re
largely subjective and ripe for propaganda and fear mongering

I still can’t believe the Democrats were suckered into a TikTok ban by people like Josh Hawley, when Musk had just taken over Twitter.

The government’s “sell or be banned” edict on TikTok was always a threat to our free speech, full stop.

Vague, unsupported claims of propaganda shouldn’t be a basis for cutting Americans off from global speakers and audiences.
White House says TikTok's algorithm and data will be controlled 'by America' in new deal
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Saturday revealed details of a deal reached with China over control of TikTok, sharing that six Americans will sit on the seven-seat board.
