having a weird health thing sprout up so i went to look it up (which is always a great idea) and they had me do this really long survey that was probably just chatGPT and at the end it told me it was 'highly certain' i have lyme disease but i really do not think so

it's just weird as hell to be left with either finding out in an embarrassing way or deliberately trawl thru my follow list every 6 months to remove ppl who'd broke mutual out of politeness. both feel pretty bad in different ways

i don't want ppl feeling locked into a social contract where they have to stay mutuals forever and just mute me. it's fine, really!!

i wish sooooo bad that bsky would let you soft block / break mutuals with someone cleanly not bc I want to do it but bc it's really awkward to see a mutual's post and go to respond only to see they'd unfollowed me at some point
