Play Stardew Valley, it’s basically just Animal Crossing without this issue and there are furry mods out there if the characters being humans is a dealbreaker

But anyway, point being any mechanic intended to force you to work playing the game into your daily schedule is an bad mechanic that’s incredibly unaccommodating to players who can’t or don’t want to make that kind of scheduling commitment

Like I love the IDEA of Animal Crossing but it’s a particularly egregious example of this kinda playstyle so I just flatout cannot commit myself to it, I have better things to do than spend 1-2 hours a day mashing the A button around a beach, tree or rock

Like I enjoy doing 75 point distribution, where all stats start at 0 and you divide a pool of 75 points among them (each stat, before mods, must be at least 3 and at most 18)- since then you get the more personalized character stats without sacrificing game balance

I literally NEVER do rolling in my DND games for this exact reason- it creates power imbalances that are frustrating for the lower end people and boring for the higher end people- there are much better ways to get those fun more varied score distributions that don't lead to annoying power imbalances
