Yes and no I have definitely witnessed people take up a profession in college just to end up not doing what they went to college for in the long run. Plus I don't believe you should be in debt to get an education and degree

Ehhh, debatable most of the time. You can see the cracks before going further most times , especially if you don't take enough time to learn that person and their background. Red flags can be right in their faces, and it will get ignored bc people want to see the "good in them."
