Because most of the British press were a)cheerleaders for Brexit b) true believers themselves, and so we have the utter failure and/or capture of the mainstream press, which continues in relation to immigration. The same failure is evident in the States with the NYT and the Washington Post prominent.
A fascinating interview with Catherine Deneuve but she's wrong about just one thing. Tom Courtenay is still with us.
I see someone's dribbled past the bins and left them on their arses.
Leverkusen who played a final against Zidane's Real. Ajax who thrilled us in 3 European Cup finals. Eintracht, runners up in what many call the greatest European Cup Final ever, all into the grinder these last 2 nights conceding 17 goals between them. Where's the jeopardy? What a farce it is now.

Bertrand Russell to Oswald Mosley. Perfection.
All power to The Nerve.
As for the BBC, a 10 year old kid with natural curiosity, a notebook and a bookie's pencil could.
Time for a period of quiet from Mike then. Let's say, the rest of his life. He can stay home instead and tend to his concrete.

I think Deltics is a brilliant blue eyed soul L.P.
'Cenotaph/Letter from Amsterdam.' 'Things That Lovers Should Do.' 'Twisted Wheel.'
I've got a load of time for him even if he didn't 'pop' Bob Mortimer into a bath and crack an egg into it.
Surely a 'pro-Reform think tank' is oxymoronic.
It's actually watchable when it's Victoria Derbyshire.

Envious. Right hand one in particular.
I believe it was originally a dispensation because the federation they should be in want nothing to do with them. Their clubs are not European and shouldn't be playing in competitions under EUFA control.
Same with World Cup qualifiers, leaving aside the bloated sclerotic mess the World Cup is anyway
'Hot Rats', Graeme. Don't let it pass you by. With brilliant playing from Ian Underwood and a guest appearance from Don Van Vliet on 'Willie the Pimp'
The whole set up is designed to have you doing a Chewin' the Fat, Ford Kieran rage thing.
I didn't want Corbyn either. It was a dead end, but the idea that this crowd of corporate-captured, right of centre nonentities is any kind of 'success', is for the birds.
Who knows? I just remember when the Labour Party was a left of centre party and at a time when the centre was a good bit left of where it is now. Harold McMillan is beginning to look like a social democrat.😄
Incidentally I shouldn't have referred to the poster as 'he'. I don't know what sex they are
You're arguing with a Labour supporter who talks about 'failed leftys' on his timeline, Graeme. That's where the Labour party are at. I'd forget about arguing with them, it's pointless.
Through to Edinburgh today for the Andy Goldsworthy exhibition at the National Galleries of Scotland and Scottish Ballet's brilliant 'Mary, Queen of Scots'. Unfortunately the Goldsworthy only has a few days left to run but if you have a chance to see 'Mary, Queen of Scots' don't pass it up.

My colleagues & I have taken a huge gamble to set up @thenerve.news We’re trying to build a new independent publication from the ground up. Social media is our only distribution for now.

Sharing this article in your networks would make a huge difference. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏

Every day's a school day, Gaye. I had no idea they hadn't been resident on Skye until after the bridge was built.
I take your point about the hens entirely and I see the problem with your shed too.
I guess we can say in their favour that they don't park their SUVs in passing places though.

You don't think it has been worthless since 1973 when Henry Kissinger won it?
There are other dubious laureates too, but yes, Trump winning it takes it far beyond any joke.
