Because most of the British press were a)cheerleaders for Brexit b) true believers themselves,and so we have the utter failure and/or capture of the mainstream press, which continues in relation to immigration. The same failure is evident in the States with the NYT and the Washington Post prominent.

I believe it was originally a dispensation because the federation they should be in want nothing to do with them. Their clubs are not European and shouldn't be playing in competitions under EUFA control.
Same with World Cup qualifiers, leaving aside the bloated sclerotic mess the World Cup is anyway

Who knows? I just remember when the Labour Party was a left of centre party and at a time when the centre was a good bit left of where it is now. Harold McMillan is beginning to look like a social democrat.😄

Through to Edinburgh today for the Andy Goldsworthy exhibition at the National Galleries of Scotland and Scottish Ballet's brilliant 'Mary, Queen of Scots'. Unfortunately the Goldsworthy only has a few days left to run but if you have a chance to see 'Mary, Queen of Scots' don't pass it up.
