I have a full bottle of SSRIs that I didn't take that my prescriber gladly cancelled the prescription for after I started to improve from discovering my diabetes, and then my ability to cope with the world better through therapy and yelling on BlueSky.

I don't idolize politicians or fan boy after any of them. They are all servants and tools that must be used by the majority to make life better. If they do well, reward them. If they fail, replace them.

Once you get used to it, you do not miss Windows. I got my dad on Linux back in 2018 and he's been running it ever since. I used Linux for 4 years straight as my main work computer at my last job. I still only have this shit-hole Win10 PC for gaming and music, which I keep patching to get by.

From what I could piece together, the feds took off with the father once family members, protected by the community, showed up. A woman held the child that had been left behind and sobbed while people tried to comfort her.

Was doing ICEWatch tonight in DC and on the way home, came across a potential ICE checkpoint.

Feds had pulled over a father with a young child in the backseat. It looks like they may have been trying to pull over more cars but neighbors immediately turned out.

People were on the corners…

In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

Out on patrol. ICE very active on the far North Side including Edgewater and Lincoln Square. Multiple abductions. Vulnerable folks should get off the street if they can. Street vendors should be bought out, landscapers warned. If you’re in Chicago and you’re not ICE watch trained, pls get trained.
