cause I just don't see Adam going this far, with LF's and others' backing, and putting this sequel so far into development, without some justification - he was promised a real movie and Disney didn't fulfill an obligation

known to Adam and maybe used to draw him into the project, then greatly diminished between TLJ and TROS and under Disney's direction they veered away from it in Ep. IX to make it a more conventional "Marvelesque" direction (in the process skimping on every character arc)

The whole "Hunt for Ben Solo" thing going public (and LF getting behind it) stirs up my conspiracy hypothesis about the sequel trilogy and that rather than there being NO plan for the sequel trilogy, like they said after TROS, there was a developed story and character arc for Kylo / Ben that was

Sry but I feel vindicated in my opinion that Disney is the worst thing to happen to Star Wars...what good does it do to be owned by a well financed monopoly when they cancel their best shows & quash the best ideas. More does not mean better when Disney only wants to mass produce toy commercial slop

Entertainment behemoths keep finding new ways to screw both the consumers and artists. And royalties are increasingly neglected/withheld (ask anyone with a 20th Century Fox contract, post-Disney merger) or winnowed down to chump change (Spotify, YouTube, Tidal). All that plus AI theft.

just thinking of that title and you think of all the different factions who would be hunting him and for different reasons trying to be the first to find him and that's a great story. Esp. in the hands of a capable director not that Iger would know one (lol to JJ getting 2 SW films and Soderbergh 0)
