Yeah I took down that Rees-Mogg (you’re welcome). Retired from software industry. A human rhythm box. Always fight with parking enforcement companies (see https://parkingenforcementforum.com). Rejoiner. Mostly worried about climate collapse.

One of the wilder outcomes from Brexit.
Like a close-up of a gourmet burger.
🤤
I’m not sure that faster/cheaper shipping routes is really something to celebrate.

The videos will end the careers and lives of dozens of dangerous, powerful men.

There were 115 prisoners mistakenly released in the last year of the last Conservative Government.

Andrea Jenkyns was a Tory Minister and MP then.
Lee Anderson was a Tory MP then.
Danny Kruger was a Tory MP then.
Sarah Pochin was a Tory councillor then.
Zia Yusuf was a major donor Tory then.
Phew. Glad the Conservatives are not in charge any more - the last year of their prison ‘control’ saw 115 prisoners released by mistake.
Most people have no idea that these ‘unusually warm’ days are covering the globe this year. Record highs, even in Winter, are as much as 5°C above expected temperatures.

Scientific research is not good at quick reactions but the word “acceleration” is creeping into many reports.

2,600 prison places created since Labour came to Power. Labour have approved the building of a new prison.

500 places were created by the Tories between 2010 and 2024. No new prisons built in 14 years.

But it’s all Labour’s fault. Yeah right. We are not stupid.

"To be fair, Reform voters are a pretty amazing, selfless bunch, for their leader they are prepared to give up their human rights, their worker's rights, accept lower pensions, higher food and energy prices, pay more for less local services etc etc. I'm afraid I can't do that."
Shitty old Tory rag. Always was.

Interesting that it only becomes a major national scandal the second these releases can be blamed on a Labour government
Education and promotion required.
Absolutely. Rates are often not clearly displayed at the start of the process. Receipts are not printed or e-mailed. It would cause a riot at a normal petrol station.

Legislation urgently required.

As warming increases, we are already accelerating past some well-known #climate tipping points - points of no return - while others are approaching fast. These tipping points mark critical forks in the road.
Until now most changes have been manageable, but… 1/

Farage is predicting a General Election in 2027.
I predict there won't be and, as usual, he's spouting headline grabbing horse shite.

Farage coins in £1000s a month for a few hours "work" yet he thinks the economic woes of the UK are caused by an 18 year old getting a tenner an hour working their arse off in Burger King.
How can you spot a dyslexic Yorkshireman?

He’ll be the one wearing a cat flap.

😆
Get the UK government off ‘X’.

So this is Labour's response to Farage's speech this morning - but put out this afternoon across all the channels they are active on.

Very good Labour, very good!

The cost of winter fuel payments is £3bn a year. The profits of the big four gas supply giants in 2023 were £65bn. It's hard to see any obvious policy conclusions here, but I'm sure top economists are working on the problem.
