For Thancred, he had simply seen Himiko as just another easy target for flirting. She was timid and easy to fluster with his advances, which he found fun. However, he was quick to realize that there was so much more to her. (3/5)

Even though she quite disliked Thancred's flirty nature with other women, she was able to see past it after a while. When they were alone, she saw that he was kind, devoted, and loving. She also found him fairly relatable, sharing a common goal of growing stronger. (2/5)
