To answer the first question, the character hasn’t even realized he started a redemption arc. It’s a very subtle start, but it is a start.

To answer the second question, I don’t know. I’d have to ask the audience lol. But I hope some are reconsidered by the audience.
Interesting! Does the character who started one intend to finish it, if they can?

Do any of the villains get redeemed to the audience, even if they don't actually change? (like, the audiences view of them changes, even if reality doesn't?)
…I’m not sure I have one now that I think about it. A lot of my villains stay villains. Or at least their villainy becomes more ambiguous but their behavior doesn’t necessarily change.

Do I really have no redemption arcs?

I think the closest it comes is I have a character starting one.

Today let's talk about characters with redemption arcs!

Is there anyone (MC, side character, villain) in your stories you feel improves significantly and become more likeable/redeemable?

The Kindergarten games. They’re hilarious but very short. So not sure how addicted I can really be.
4. I want to drink a Guinness everytime I watch but don’t currently have any.

5. Genuinely curious what parts aren’t exaggerated. I may need to hunt for a documentary.
Been watching house of Guinness. Couple of comments:

1. Kinda weird that the people with the last name Guinness are rarely ever drinking it despite owning the brewery.

2. Some of the more comedic moments are true Irish gold.

3. Rafferty and Ellen are my two favorite characters.
They’re a very complex being. Although they are evil itself, they’re still a divine being. Much as humans can use reason to overcome instinct, Evil is not limited to their conceptual nature. They have interests outside of their purpose and primary goals. Some of which are relatively harmless.
Lich Story: Demetre’s closest platonic relationship are her 3 servants; Claude, Camilla, and Collette. They creep her out but are a constant presence in her unlife and provide what very little stability she has. And are her only servants that aren’t undead. That said, she doesn’t know them that-
Side projects:

Nothing in Mr.Shang yet. Very much in early development. Shang’s only relationship is with sexual/romantic intent. Leo and Zhao only recently met but become best of friends eventually.
Oveclive and Reviatour. Like her, they’ve been through a lot, knew their fallen 4th member Addenmenone personally, and are still struggling with their respective traumas. Serrate is one of the few people Oveclive still talks to personally rather than just over the network. He’s otherwise a hermit.
-offer to most others. I think that’s as close to a platonic relationship as Evil ever got.

WIP 3 main antag: No answer. It wants to be alone in the universe.

WIP 3 side antag, Serrate: Among the original 4 ADMIN units, Serrate is platonically close with the remaining two peers she has-
Evil/Hell: I’m not sure the concept applies. The closest example I can think of a specific (real life) musician. Evil was enough of a fan that he very specifically coveted (and failed to get) his soul. Even offering “some” special privileges should he willingly sell his soul that they would not-
-was like back on Earth 9000 years ago.

Antags:
Monster King: Inazuma. The King views him as proof of his philosophy’s validity, even if Inazuma himself doesn’t follow it.
Monster Queen: She only cares about her husband. Everyone else is prey.
-will ever pursue it. Each for their own reasons.

The Emperor: Every relationship that isn’t family is platonic with him. So it would be his best friend, one of the few people who has lived as long without being a family member. And therefore one of few who personally recalls what it-
-he never suggested he was.

Nozomi: Her grandfather. He raised her, named her, and made every effort to ensure she turned out better than her parents were.

Outside of family, it would be the base player in the band. He’s a very wise friend. While some romantic tension does exist, neither-
MCs:

Inazuma: Initially its the man who would become the new Japanese PM. He is the political arm of Inazuma’s heroism. But later Kathleen becomes more significant as she encourages further heroism and a more global (and revolutionary) perspective. And she’s made it clear she’s not into him, and-

Tell me about your character's most significant platonic relationship or relationships!

Do bonds with close friends, mentors or companions play a significant role in the story?

WIP 2: For mortals maybe. Heaven and Hell both have access to just about everything.

WIP 3: Very much situational and a matter of perspective. Some things are lost media to one species, but accessible to another that just doesn’t share or has no contact with those it is lost to yet.
WIP 1: Lots. A significant portion of technology was taken out by a giant EMP attack when the blood war resumed. While military tech and some comforts have caught back up, tons of digital media was lost.
Good morning, my monsterfuckers!

From @fremen5.bsky.social:

Does your setting have lost media?

Luka's world was bifurcated into two separate realms by a veil manufactured by the then-powerful mages 1300 years ago The free flow of knowledge ceased and so much knowledge and culture was lost
Going by personal opinion:

Patrick
Spongebob (early seasons)
Squidward
Mr.Krabs (he’s still funny and I like him)
Plankton
Karen
Mrs. Puff
Larry the Lobster
My Leg fish
Patrick’s fake parents
Spongebobs grandma
That one fish who really hated bubble buddy
Bubble buddy
Pearl
Sandy.

That’s all-

And the episode where spongebob and patrick raise a clam. (Especially because it was banned at one point, and so everyone should watch it).

-food, he’d blow krabs out of the water (pun intended). It’s only later seasons where I think Plankton becomes more generally evil.

Even his attempted trade secret theft is a drop in the bucket compared to Mr.Krabs early seasons bad behavior.
