We support Ukraine until Ukraine is completely free of Russian invaders.

Sanctions on Russian oil companies are imposed "as a result of Russia’s lack of serious commitment to a peace process to end the war in Ukraine."

This is such an important realization. Beyond important. Russia wants to keep this war going.

I only hope it sticks.

I think a lot about Bernard Williams and Thomas Nagel's moral luck, and specifically, circumstantial luck (e.g., not being German in the 1930s and 40s). We're unlucky to be Americans during the Trump era, but we will be judged by whether we resist or comply.

I'm tired. We're all tired. This isn't hard to understand. You can't inflate prices of basic necessities like food and housing to ridiculous highs while keeping wages at poverty levels, then act surprised when luxury goods/services and large purchases become unattainable or payments unaffordable.
