Obviously, this depends on the job, but I found opting for support over squishiness to be helpful when I had a more active job. My feet would get tired faster in sneakers than boots. (We had a concrete floor.)
They’re about the size of green lentils or peas but taste a little more like a kidney bean or a green bean. I most often see them in their sprouted form on top of Thai food. There’s a solid chance you’ve had them and just didn’t know.
And this is why we love Chewed Up… they do a great job of capturing the “hanging out in the kitchen with your friends” vibe.
I went through a short “I make my own ketchup” phase about 10 years ago. Ultimately, I realized Trader Joe can do it faster, cheaper, and better than me, and that’s OK.

Saw a commercial where the adult child finds their dad running on a treadmill to "Shine" by Collective Soul in their old room that's now a gym. I thought, "oh, I LOVED that album in high school." Then I realized, I am well into the age where people in my cohort are empty nesters. I feel old now.
We all know Cuomo's into some freaky stuff, but the more clips I see if him getting absolutely dick stomped in that debate, it makes me question if his entire campaign is not some sort of submissive/public shaming role play fantasy.
Democrats don’t seem to realize everything that’s happening now is a product of a system that’s been broken longer than many of us were alive. 2026 winners will be those that offer bold, workable solutions. “How about the lack of change you didn’t like last time?” isn’t a winning strategy.

As somebody that applied to law school during the 2009 cycle, when the injustice of the world makes everything fall apart, law school does feel like a good step to trying to right things. (I got into my first choice but decided to not go due to $$$.)
if true, this is a recession indicator.
Panko Crusted Pork Tenderloin with a Balsamic Arugula Salad, and Mushroom Pasta in a Shiitake Doenjang Beurre Monté Sauce.
I accidentally read “Hydrochloride” as “Hydrocodone” at first and thought, “well, yeah, I guess that would tame tension, but that can’t be legal…”
Just discovered a new money saving tip: Go to Trader Joe’s at 12:15 on a Sunday, look at the parking lot, and ask yourself, “do I really need groceries this badly?” Luckily, today’s answer was “no, I can probably get by with my pantry this week.”
So, I may have gone a little overboard with my Crust & Crumb order this morning. However, sometimes you just need several little a pastry as a treat. #treatyoself #freefeetpics
Y’all, we have an emergency! I thought I had a backup bottle of ketchup in the pantry, but I do not. I may have to resort to the Strategic Leftover Auxiliary Packet Sauces (SLAPS).
I used to have a whole pour-over setup in my cubicle back when I had a cubicle. I highly support personal hot beverage infrastructure in the office.
I'm pretty sure most of you do not pay taxes in my city (as there are only 244 houses here), but just as a general courtesy to your own tax collector, please do not glue your return forms inside the envelope for security purposes. It's the opposite of helpful.
I was looking for something else in my photos and came across this picture of me from 10 years ago. I wish I could tell him so many things, but I also know he wouldn’t listen to me.
I’m out wandering aimlessly about and stopped by a coffee stall in our sort of incubator food hall for a cold brew. Then I realized it’s the same local coffee shop whose beans I buy at Costco and make my own cold brew every day. At least I’m consistent.
Have to love learning how to do a new thing at work, doing 21/24 of them before you realize you did them all wrong, and then having to go back and redo almost all of them. At least I caught it myself, and it's extra practice, I guess.
