Luck makes up a much higher piece of the pie when it comes to initial success than any of us want to admit, feels like. Technical skill and networking offer a big leg up but whether your work gets in front of the right person at the right time dictates a lot of that opportunity.

I’m a developer. It could be an issue of them not having the time to build a full server-side validation yet, or it could be on purpose.

It’s hard because someone always ends up in power. I’ve thought about trying to start something, but then how do you stay “good”? I’d like to think I would, but money is a hell of a drug.

The internet started to suck when everything became centralized. All of these companies buying and merging is how “they” get us to be reliant on them, then they start to control everything.
