I think they're just chasing big sales numbers and have no idea what they're doing with their own IPs. just throwing out nostalgia and hoping for the best while making terrible business decisions. it's really sad :(

I really enjoyed DFFOO when I was playing it, but towards the end they just didn't seem to care much about what they were offering beyond "here's the broken thing you should pull for, the current boss can only be killed by them, good luck." I wish we had a game like it that wasn't a battlepass game
