How can you not be romantic about Red Dead Redemption 2 and Arthur Morgan?
It reminds me of when NFL installed an ability to challenge interference. And refs clearly colluded to refuse to reverse calls. That was about coddling themselves. In this case, how does it benefit refs to willfully refuse to referee plays?

Are there prop bets about the tush push they benefit from?
The refs letting them false-start on it constantly on those plays was already a pretty strong reason to shut it down. If they now also can't accurately gauge where and in whose possession the ball is on those plays, what are we even doing anymore?
Every Dem candidate should stand together promising, when elected, to force White House ballroom to be converted into prosthetic clinic for vets.

His White House wants to dismantle our constitution? Let them share space & lay eyes everyday on soldiers who literally gave piece of themselves for it.
This just makes me want to see a scene of Godzilla set where those giant redwood trees are (or a different kind of tree if there's bigger ones than that). I wonder if any of the Godzilla movies did that.
If you have time to lean, you have time to clean.

If you have time to eat, you have time to die on your feet... at work.

This is a working block list for new MAGA accounts that have signed up since the White House signed up bsky.app/profile/did:...
I feel like the only way Moon Knight is gonna be a thing is if Ryan Reynolds ever suddenly gets really excited about the idea of doing something cool with him in a new Deadpool movie.
It kind of proves that shortening "anti-fascist" to antifa is the entire reason why the right has had an easy time attacking antifa. They would give anything for the No Kings branding to have been shortened to NoKi at some point so they wouldn't have to sound pro-Kings when attacking it.

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.
Of all the challenges forcing me to do counter-intuitive things, making me hit 3 times every Blackjack hand was the least fun.

If you're gonna make me do profoundly unwise shit, I prefer it still be fun & exciting. Like the challenge where I had to intentionally let myself get mauled by 18 bears.
Mmm, I dunno. I exclusively watch the genre of movie trailer that blares the song "How You Like Me Now?" at me for most of the runtime. They almost never include hospital hugging scenes or artsy sunsets. I bet they *wish* they could include shots of someone playing guitar with their tits out though.
Has anybody invented a browser yet that has built-in A.I. blocking features?
It's a pretty brutal melee weapon. Some gnarly kills.
Nothing happier than when you're riding around & the universe randomly serves up Klansmen for you to kill.

My most recent playthrough, it happened right after I found the pirate sword. I was in need of some people who deserved to be hacked to pieces with a sword & the universe obliged. Serendipity.
I mean, I'd have not done math if I could've gotten away with it. But teachers made a point of testing & grading us in ways that demanded we elaborate (show/explain our work) to demonstrate we grasped the material.

Dumb question: what stops teachers from doing this to nip the AI problem in the bud?
Pretty insane some sportswriters out there wrote on this, emphasizing quotes about trusting his integrity, without once mentioning his track record of circumventing or breaking NFL rules to gain a competitive advantage. Without mentioning he's personally been suspended for cheating & cover-ups.
It's wild Google decided to kneecap themselves by hiding search engine results to give AI summaries instead.

It's like a GPS company hiding the step-by-step directions to get to a location and making you read an incoherent conversational blurb describing vaguely how to get somewhere.
Beast of Burden became my most frequent Stones listen 20 yrs ago & wasn't toppled by any of their songs since.

To be fair: Gimme Shelter, Paint it Black, & Brown Sugar were bigger faves but I listened so much I hit a saturation limit. Burden rose to the top by default after I overplayed past faves.
"They just got them in different ways."

Whoever said that should examine how 30-40 years ago, the reactions to people who got HIV differed depending on how they got it.

If superpowers happened for real, varying reactions would be gnarled, twisted logic pretzels.
People who don't care assume it'll blow over. It often does.

Folks who talk about AI being a scam to avoid paying artists used to say the same about reality TV. Now most people happily bond over loving it.

Half the people tweeting about JKR's bigotry have Chick-fil-A wrappers littering their cars.
I've been the lone holdout in weak-shit criminal cases.

And I held the hands of jurors on a civil case who needed to be guided to the correct verdict so we could slap down (& award punitive damages to make an example of) shady businesses.

Doing good work on a jury is one of the best feelings.
Hopefully someone on his jury has common sense and says no to prosecutorial overreach.

It's not easy butting heads with a jury full of idiots who have been programmed by Law & Order to think everyone charged needs to be locked up, but we need more of it. I do my part every time I get jury duty.
Even when a superhero fights for leftist versions of justice/morality, the genre still has a baked-in Ayn Randian conservative fantasy: that the special few, if we just get out of their way, will benevolently save us. So no point fixing systemic problems.

ANDOR's less about the special few (Jedi).
I feel a little bad for people in that age range where the Harry Potter universe was extremely formative for them. And they inadvertently made it too big of a load-bearing pillar of their personality to ever fathom dialing back their support of it even though they know they absolutely should.
