Urgent gynae app due to unexpected bleeds. She took a biopsy of my uterine lining WITHOUT prior warning (I thought she was going for the cervix) or pain relief, then bitched about it being too thin to get a proper sample while poking about a second time. Nurse had to scrape me off the ceiling.

SmallFry was getting bullied at Cubs by a boy calling him a girl. One email later, it's being dealt with and he's been given strategies to use. So he's spent the last two days working on come backs. Current favourite is "Well, we all started off as girls and then some of us got a sausage"! 😆

My kid's always been a reader, so getting him INTO it hasn't been a problem. The problem has been convincing folk that it's ok to buy him the comics on his wish list rather than something "proper". He's started getting more of a variety from the library, but still spends his own cash on comics.

A friend of mine was involved in the data crunching for the studies following the vaccine roll out. I was with her when the first proper figures hit her inbox and she very nearly lost all composure. She's the most level headed and pragmatic person I know and this ruined her (in a good way).

I'm an immigrant. The white kind that speaks perfect English, so not really who Fromage is after, but also the kind that will leave this country if Reform actually get in. So that'll be three jobs lost, plus VAT and corporation tax from two companies and my husband's teaching skills. 🤷🏻‍♀️
