There is no algorithm here. Type the word like a grown up or say something else.

Fck c*ncer =/= FUCK CANCER.

Friendly reminder: Bsky doesn't censor words. You can say things like kill and fuck here.

When you choose to bowdlerize words on Bsky, it just breaks people's filters. If you type "r*pe" it means that anyone who has a filter to block the word "rape" still sees your post. Knock it off!

You gently run your hand through the rack. You can feel it—pure cotton, rich wool, Irish linen. The plump buttonholes are handsewn; the buttons attached with a firm shank. You flip the price tag over. It's affordable

You buy the jacket and go home, which is only 15 mins away. Your apt is $600/month

"Among its key provisions, SF 383 requires PBMs to reimburse independent pharmacies based on the federal National Average Drug Acquisition Cost (NADAC) plus a $10.68 dispensing fee, prohibits health plans from favoring certain pharmacies, and allows pharmacies to appeal reimbursement disputes."

There are plenty of nationally accredited "homeschool" programs which should be eligible for the voucher program. This page lists 12 accredited programs.

Iowa law does not differentiate between private instruction at home and private instruction elsewhere. It's all defined as Competent PI (CPI) or Independent PI (IPI). If a family uses an accredited program to provide CPI at home, it should be voucher-eligible.
Students First Education Savings Accounts
Education savings accounts (ESAs) may be used by eligible families to cover tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses at nonpublic schools in Iowa.

This is why the inflatable costumes works so well -- it works the same way calling them "weird" or "creepy" did. It disrupts their narrative, and makes them seem pathetic rather than cool-and-cruel.

Would this new credit only increase the $ amount of Iowa's existing education tax credits, or would it also expand the expenses covered? Since it's hypothetical, we can't know.

Right now, most CPI/IPI costs aren't included, but tuition for accredited schools (like K12) is.
ulidig.bsky.social
Many families who want to use a virtual academy open enroll to a district that contracts with K12 or Connections. Since the district is paying their tuition, those expenses wouldn't need a credit. If you're paying out of pocket, the credit would likely include that tuition cost...
ulidig.bsky.social
Iowa law does not differentiate between homeschool and private school. Both are legally Private Instruction. If you are paying for K12, that's CPI or IPI as far as Iowa is concerned.

If you're enrolled in a district with a K12 contract to provide virtual schooling, that's public school at home...
Homeschooling (Private Instruction)
Families may choose to educate their children at home instead of sending them to a traditional public or nonpublic school. This is called homechooling.

Or in between paid ads. The ad company wants advertisers to notice the 'prime' spot so they'll pay to put an ad there.

Her ACTUAL account appears to be @janetmillsforme.bsky.social.

This is so necessary. I vaguely recall that the Obama volunteer machine got a rebranding after his 08 victory and was intended to keep Organizing For America (is that what it was called?) but if they had any further accomplishments they did not promote them effectively enough for me to find out.

Indeed. If I found out they focused on DSM, I wouldn't be surprised. I haven't lived in Des Moines since 2006, and I didn't even know Norris's name before this summer, and I only know it now because I make an *effort* to follow the primaries.
ulidig.bsky.social
Fascinating that she scored that high. I'd have thought her name recognition outside of DSM would be low, and as far as I can tell, she's not campaigning. No events. Scant social media presence. Bare bones website begging for money.

a fake quote being attributed to zohran mamdani is igniting the pro-palestine left.

he never said arresting netanyahu would make him a trumpian fascist. that phrase was posted by an account known for using extreme rhetoric to accuse mamdani of effectively saying that as a result of him softening.
image circulating claiming to attribute a fake quote to mamdani. text reads:
dec. 2024: “as mayor of nyc i would arrest benjamin netanyahu”
sept. 2025: “arresting netanyahu would make me a trumpian fascist.” - this second quote has in big letters over it the words “fake quote.” post from the originator of the phrase. text reads:

@zei squirrel
here you have it side by side. Zohran in December 2024, when he was running in the primary, pledging that he will definitely arrest Netanyahu. Then fast forward to Zohran in September 2025, after he won the primary, and suddenly arresting Netanyahu makes you a Trumpian fascist:

And the best adaptation of any Dickens that has ever been put onto the screen, or ever will be, is the Muppets Christmas Carol. But I think that is quite possibly the least unhinged opinion it is possible to have about Dickens. It's simply fact.
