Science is slowly revealing, what to many of us is bleeding obvious. Autism is not a single song but a genre. One cannot abstract all concomitant diagnoses/conditions, developmental pathways, socio-cultural emplacements, and produce a ‘theory of autism’. To do so is clearly reductionist.
