Elmer is a Pallid bat(admittedly, a vampire one)—a real species in the wild! Pallid bats are skilled hunters of scorpions and help pollinate the giant cactus while it blooms at night! He’s also the California state bat…does that make him a micro celebrity? ☺️🦇
