Back in Austin! Thanks for the good times to all the awesome folks at the Jacksonville Public Library in West Port and thanks to everyone who came to workshop and then to the LitChat event.
GOOD MORNING, FUCKERS! #61
There are ambulances on Greek Row, and cops are in my parking lot. They can't see the road from there. They're looking for someone back here.
SG-1 killed all the gods, so now they're going after Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy . . .

What did you do for a Klondike bar?
WHAT DID YOU DO?!
Good news! AI will go away if we can weather the storm until it does. The bad news is it will take the economy with it. But the economy's numbers have been inflated by bullshit financial tactics, so it won't make much of a difference:
"Did you just take a shit in my bathroom?"

"Indeed I did. It was . . . treacherous."
This was my letterhead when I was in junior high. I kinda want to start using this again.
Very much in the same vein as "may you live in interesting times."
On tonight's Northern Exposure, Ed suggests that Tom Hanks could play Nosferatu, and I can't help but think GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! But that is something I'd pay a lot of money to see.
I forgot tomorrow is a holiday. That's why the Greek Row revelers were so quiet. They were saving their celebration for tonight.
I found the magazines I advertised in back when I was publishing Tabard Inn. Stuff like Cemetery Dance and City Slab and Cthulhu Sex, etc. Even the classified one I tried in the back of F&SF. It all worked for the first two issues. The third? Not so much, but that was OK.
It was pretty quiet when I went to bed, and it was the same when I woke up. Are the Greek Row revelers all right? They're not on double secret probation, are they?
I interviewed a lot of people in my time as a journalist, but Mistress Jade and her slave were probably my favorite subjects. My writing partner and I got to visit her Chicago dungeon, where they put me in a cage. Her customers tended to be cops and local politicians, naturally.
