I fear for the people of Jamaica. Our National Hurricane Center urges Jamaicans to "stay in your safe place." For many thousands there is no such thing. The entire island will be battered and drenched. 20-30" of rain, wind gusts well over 200mph. Landslides and flooding are inevitable. As are deaths

A bonus mini #Maine #Sunrise this morning. There was color for about 15 minutes and the sun never did appear. I didn't go anywhere since I expected clouds and rain. It's a much quicker process to shoot from your room balcony. #OgunquitME #OgunquitBeach #Photography

I had a nice visit to #BlueDoorGallery in #YorkME today to see the @marciacrumleyart.bsky.social exhibit. Photos of the works are nice (obviously, since I wanted to see the exhibit) but viewing the works in person is a whole different experience. The exhibit runs until 11/9.

The question is not whether the US is now a dictatorship. It is. Nothing has stopped them yet. They ignore all the long established guardrails of democracy.
