The amount of flowers in Austria in spring is crazy. In Australia we have a very short wildflower season. The desert lights up. It's stunning, but only last a moment.

London Streets 2025

I feel more comfortable on the dirtier, grittier lived in streets than with the high-rise buildings and the suits. It's easier to talk to people there.

The Austrian Alps are absurdly photogenic.

You don't get light like that in Australia. It's more direct. Europeans probably don't notice it, but as an Aussie it jumps out. Our mornings and evening happen in a second. Less long shadows.

Old Ute vs New Ute

This is a Steyr-Puch Haflinger, a small, lightweight, all-terrain utility vehicle originally developed in Austria in the late 1950s.

Ute is what Australians call a pick up truck, but this photo was taken yesterday in Austria.
