I’m going to ask others if they want add to this, but I’m going to say a couple last things just on basic safety: don’t wear anything valuable or uncomfortable. Disable any biometrics on your phone, even if you’ve turned if off. Bring a snack and water. Wear a mask, not just for opsec but for health

Next is this great infographic about how to spot trouble in a crowd when police are present! Cops are well known to use tactics to gain control of crowds in their favor. While these tactics apply more to local police, who have actual training, they still should be watched in all LEO including ICE.

It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution.
The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military.
