The point is what to do with people like Platner. There will be more of them. Banish? Vote for them? Not up to me yet. What do they do to prove they aren’t too broken? Like the person who posted the ICP guy trying to do better, a path back. I cursed Platner not you, but take it how you want to.

I’m not a voter in Maine but I did know a lot of messed up enlisted guys with terrible takes and unfortunate tattoos. What is the path back for the ones who want to change? Platner won’t be alone, looking at young GOP, do they get to change or are they stuck? Trust has to be earned for sure…

Having a path back is one thing if he regrets it. He needs to do the work to make people believe the change before running for office. No nazis is a good line to stand firm upon.

I’d say Maine could do better but then I look at Susan Collins. Platner needs a path back to the good side if he has changed but he doesn’t need to be in office at this time.
