I'm thrilled to announce the creative lineup for our next comics anthology, The New Hotness!
My apologies, can you try it now?
Hi Agnes, can you DM me with the email address you applied with?
In the next few days! We're just locking down the last few artists, and then we're off to the races.
Thanks for your patience, everyone!

We've selected the story list for The New Hotness, and replied to every writer who applied. There were many truly incredible pitches we just didn't have the pages to include.

We're finalizing the artist roster now, and we'll announce the stories very soon!
Thanks for all your submissions to "The New Hotness" everyone! There's some great stuff in there, and we'll be pouring over it to make some difficult decisions.

We'll reach out to everyone who applied by August 3rd!

My apologies, my spam filter ate the email!

If you’re applying to both write and draw a story, absolutely submit three story pitches and include your portfolio in the information.

If you’re also comfortable illustrating someone else’s writing, you can apply as an artist as well.
My apologies, I've been fighting my hosting for a while. Can you try [email protected] ?
Yep, co-writers or co-artists are fine!
Don't have a full creative team? Don't worry, we'll pair folks up! Full information on applying as an artist or writer can be found on the submissions page:

Tieflings have found particular resonance in the queer ttrpg community. It feels like almost every queer D&D player has a tiefling OC!

We’re inviting creators to share personal stories through their tiefling avatars across a range of genres, including romance, action, sci-fi, comedy, and horror.

One time while travelling alone, I arrived in a city during a donut crawl and proceeded to go to ~6 different donut shops. It was the best way to get to know the place. This comic is like that but, like, way cuter! Also the art is traditional watercolours!
In Marta Selusi's "Bittersweet Ice Cream," a young boy searches his new city for the perfect flavor that will make it all okay again.

( Also there are cats )
In Malcolm Derikx and @pangolinart.bsky.social's "Bloodsucking Monsters" two millennial vampires face an unimaginable crisis; everyone's a renter, and no one can invite them in! Who are they supposed to eat?!

In this autobio story, a sudden layoff sees Brandon and his family forced to leave their planned life in Ottawa. When the money runs out, where do you go?
