Too windy here I'm Omaha to put out my Halloween stuff in the yard as planned, so having to make do with placing them as best I can in windows and such. Now just hoping I get trick-r-treaters!
(Ya know, strange house and all!)

Damn it! Why do all the other countries get the hot politicians?

The Great Pumpkin is ready for his midnight visit to the guys!
Sometimes I speak before I think...

Shopping in Hy-Vee and a clerk asks if I'm looking for anything in particular.

Me: Just browsing the single men

The look I got.
Priceless.
Why doesn't he just say "I don't care"?
Wouldn't put it past em
A couple of those really hot priests!
I'm with you on the first part but give a man a heads up at least.

And the second part?
I mean, come on!
Susie? Really? WTH?
Pissed me off!!!
Not the show (loved it!) but the fact I was not warned in advance I would have to wait until Halloween for the 2nd episode!
I don't want to alarm anyone (me) but there are quite a bit of unsettling noises occurring in the old Mansion tonight.

I'm sure it's just from the wind, but still...

Mutant babies? Did you watch Welcome to Derry by any chance? πŸ€”
You mean the fag bashing?
Yes, I went there!
The "villain" was an odd mash up of IT and Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus, so...no.
They can definitely get aggressive. Fear instinct (fight or flight) because everything is foreign to them at that point. My grandmother was about 100lbs soaking wet but I remember my dad talking about how hard she fought sometimes.
Thankfully, my dad has not reached that point yet. He is still high functioning. Only diagnosed a couple of years ago, but I told my mother he was showing signs about 7 years ago. She refused to believe me. Only last Christmas did she say she wished she had listened to me back then.
It depends. Some patients can live for years in an almost vegetative like state, being basically kept alive by force feeding because they've forgotten how to chew. No recognition, no comprehension of any kind. It's horrible to watch.
Definitely. The dead stare, wandering off and having to be redirected. There are going to be fewer and fewer public appearances for sure. It's going to get harder to cover it up.
My grandmother suffered from dementia.

My father is currently suffering from dementia.

I worked with dementia patients for 8 years.

I know the signs.

The man
has dementia.
Thank you for that, Joe. You made me tear up a bit. β™₯️
