You know, a major issue I've taken notice with the animation community is how much y'all prioritize style over substance. Like, there's only so much you do with visuals alone - if your cartoon is just flashy animation but with a dull plot and/or cast, then your audience will get bored real quick.
That's not to say writing isn't important because it definitely is, you can't just have pretty visuals you need a proper balance of things, but it should go without saying that in a medium like animation the visuals are a high priority and I'm tired of self proclaimed cartoon fans thinking otherwise
I don't even have a Switch 2 to play the game on 😭

Even if I'm not constantly posting about something or making new art for it, never underestimate what it means to me. 🥺
At least you'll get a Gyrados out of it LMAO
With the Game Boy series (e.g., the original Game Boy, the Game Boy Color, and the Game Boy Advance), I admittedly only ever really used those to play Pokémon 😅

But I do remember having fun with Six Golden Coins, Wario Land III, and the original Superstar Saga.

Depends on which handheld console:

Like, with the Nintendo DS, my favorites are split between Bowser's Inside Story and Magical Starsign.

With the Nintendo 3DS, my favorites are split between the Majora's Mask remake and the Mario & Luigi games (sans Paper Jam).

Doesn’t it feel so damn good when your favorite content creators on YouTube talks about your favorite works of media!
This was me earlier this year XD

In seriousness, I agree, I actually kinda prefer Part I over the original. It was banger being able to replay the game with infinite ammo XD

The Last of Us Part I Platinum trophy obtained! I'd say this is the definitive version of the game, mainly due to the massive visual overhaul, technical enhancements that feature a nice dose of quality-of-life improvements, and feeling like a smooth transition to Part II.
For example, SPA's The Emoji Movie is perhaps one of the most visually pleasing features to come out of the 2010s. However, visuals is all this film's got going for it, as the story is completely unoriginal and often nonsensical while the characters range from bland to outright unlikable.
A major problem I've noticed with the animation community is that so many folks prioritize style over substance. Visuals alone can't salvage a badly written narrative.

I don't think live-action versions of non-live-action things are inherently a bad idea. The problem is when the work in question clearly doesn't translate well to live-action (e.g., ATLA or DBZ)

Pokémon Gold & Silver were released in the US 25 years ago today 🕹️
I remember when ATHF made fun of that with "The Granite Family"... only to become dated mere months later when plans for the reboot fell threw 😅

My mom and brother even ordered Arby's today while I was at work LOL
Glad to see I'm not the only one without a Switch 2 😭
Now that BlueSky finally has bookmarks, I can start going back to doing these LOL
I get people like that occasionally, though since they technically don't do anything wrong, I just ignore them until they annoy me enough to mute them.

(I typically don't like blocking people unless they do something REALLY bad)
