For much too long the editorial board at the Times has propped up BR’s “opinion” pieces as his own column simply because, apparently, they share the same views (see the editorial opinion piece during ZFH). It’s dangerous, as he is often throwing out unverified claims based only on his bad vibes.

Also excited to learn that the Navy is planning its inaugural 10 miler in SAN DIEGO this coming February. Yes plz. We told them they should make it a Tri, because, water.

Granted I do not know how much water would be diverted to said closed loop. But I think it’s a real concern on local supply of water.

Well I think the concern is more if the water is returned to the ecosystem, it is returned with excess heat that can alter said ecosystem.

And if the closed loop solution is implemented for that, it means a vast amount of water is now in a closed loop and made not available for other uses.

So Visit Alexandria responded to my request saying they would look into the whole thing of neighborhoods etc. but I have zero confidence that any edits will be made to that abhorrent excuse for a map of “neighborhoods”
