I watch these knowing they are going to be bad. But occasionally, they are good. And I would like some entertaining bad sometimes. As it stands it seems like the only people that like this series are the people that make it, going by letterboxd lol

VHS Halloween watched. This series desperately needs to go back to committing to the bit. Everything should be in 4:3 and have a wraparound that brings each segment together. I swear these get worse every year.

It's #portfolioday! I'm presently a senior narrative designer at Blizzard, but before that I was at Bungie and Arkane. I wrote for the Writer's Guild award-nominated Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and a bunch of critically acclaimed seasons and expansions in Destiny 2.

Nice! Yea I think you need some support stuff for anything to work, otherwise he can one shot you. I didn't know crit HP worked multiple time, either! That's cool!

Everyone says dual wield monk for that fight but that has never, ever worked for me. My strategy is always stack speed buffs, ninja, concentrate. Go first, survive second attack, then killing blow. His evasion is too high otherwise.

Cid feels like the kind of character the devs added to the game as an “out” for the harder encounters late game. Because a lot of stuff is weak to/susceptible to Holy Knight abilities, esp the Lucavi…and ahem a certain boss with Shirahadori.

I kind of wish he was a little *less* good, mostly because Agrias is my favorite FFT character and CID is just kind of much better Agrias. But i still use them both lol.
